The art fair held in Karlsruhe, Germany, in early February came to a successful close. I exhibited two pieces, one of which sold. I hope that the work that has left my hands will continue to find its own path. I have received invitations to participate in two art fairs currently scheduled to take place in Europe, but it is still undecided whether I will be able to attend. Nevertheless, I would very much like to participate if possible.

Now, regarding my upcoming exhibitions, I have two scheduled for late May. One is a group show at the Recto verso Gallery in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. This is a four-person exhibition organized by the gallery, and I’ll be working with artists I’ve never collaborated with before. After checking out the websites of the other three artists participating in this exhibition, I found that they all create incredibly compelling works. I’m really looking forward to meeting them at the venue! For this exhibition, I plan to exhibit three pieces from my “Woman” series, which was released last September. Unfortunately, these are not new works. I apologize for that. However, I hope they will reach people who haven’t seen them yet.
Once that exhibition ends, I will be participating in another exhibition in Nagoya. This is the same exhibition I had the opportunity to participate in for the first time last year, and thanks to a fortunate connection, I will be exhibiting there again this year. Since the lineup of artists seems to change every year, I’m looking forward to seeing which artists I’ll be exhibiting alongside this time. I plan to exhibit two pieces from my “Woman” series, which will be making their debut in Nagoya.
I plan to be present at both exhibitions only on the final day. I’ll let you know more details as the dates approach. I look forward to seeing you at the venue.
